2018 Gala Highlights - "An Evening in China"

Sponsored by Bently Heritage Estate Distillery

Each year WildAid hosts a star-studded gala fundraiser to celebrate progress in protecting endangered species and marine habitats. We are proud to share the successes made possible by our generous supporters and to showcase recent work by our portfolio of ambassadors. You can see photos from the evening here.

WildAid's 2018 Gala was held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday, November 10, 2018. The event's sponsors included Bently Heritage Estate Distillery, PALETTERA, Nellcôtte Winery, Yao Family Wines, Dunstan Wines - Durell Vineyard, Sea Smoke, Chateau Boswell Winery and Melka Estates & Winery. The 2018 Gala raised $2.4 million to support WildAid's global programs.

We were thrilled to honor WildAid ambassadors Danai Gurira and Bryce Dallas Howard with our Wildlife Champion Awards for their exceptional dedication to ending illegal wildlife trade.

"An Evening in China" featured a cocktail and hors-d'oeuvres reception featuring captivating performances from The Cirque. Guests enjoyed a three-course vegan dinner by celebrity Master Chef Martin Yan.

The charitable evening brought out celebrities, including Danai Gurira, Bryce Dallas Howard, Josh Duhamel, Michael Cudlitz, Kevin Olusola, Bo Derek, Maggie Q, and Dylan McDermott.

Grammy award-winning producer David Foster provided the musical entertainment with special guest performances by Pia Toscano and Sheléa.
