Dwight Phillips is an American four-time athlete and Olympic gold medalist. Phillips has competed in the 60 and 100 meters sprints, but specializes in the long jump. He won the gold medal for the long jump at the 2004 Olympic Games and 4 gold medals in the World Athletic Championships from 2003 to 2009. In 2004, Phillips was ranked the number one long jump athlete in the world.
