Manuel Bravo

Ecuador Program Director

Manuel Bravo joined WildAid in August 2014 and currently works with the Undersecretary of Coastal Marine Resources to strengthen the enforcement and management of five unique coastal MPAs.

Manuel is a University of Guayaquil trained marine biologist who possesses a MS in integrated coastal management. A seasoned professional who has worked on numerous community-led fishery and mangrove management projects, he has served as Coordinator of the Participatory Management System of the Galapagos, National Director of Policy for Aquaculture and Fisheries and State Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Environment for the Government of Ecuador.
