Featuring a new public service announcement (PSA) and major billboard campaign with international conservation group WildAid. Yao timed the launch to take place the day before the first game of Shanghai Sharks basketball team, which he recently assumed control over.

On Wednesday , February 10, 2010 Peter Knights, Executive Director of WildAid will address the TED Conference in Long Beach, California about the threats to marine protected areas and the successful enforcement chain developed by WildAid for the Marine Protected Area of the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador.
